Chocolate Chip Scones

Looking for something a little denser than cake but still with a sweet taste to it. These scones will fill the gap.

Ingredients:

170g whole meal flour
1 scoop protein, I used PHD smart protein salted caramel flavour
1/4 tsp baking powder
25g dark chocolate chips
2 tbsp melted coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp honey
1 large egg
2.5 tbsp of almond milk

Instructions

Pre heat oven to 180*


Put flour, protein, baking powder and chocolate chips into mixing bowl

Mix coconut oil, vanilla extract, honey and egg

Add the almond milk to bind the mixture together and make a slightly wet dough

Divide into 6 balls and place on baking tray

Flatten down the balls with a fork

Bake in oven for 12 minutes
