Like to spend as much time possible in your cosy bed. Overnight Oats are a great way to get in a balanced breakfast for those of us that are short on time due to our early morning starts.
Here is a yummy recipe for overnight oats that I prepare the night before, and I can eat after my morning spin classes.
30ml Almond Milk
1 scoop Chocolate Whey Protein
30g 0% Greek Style Yoghurt or dairy-free alternative
A handful frozen berries
1 teaspoon peanut butter
Half a handful of chopped almonds
A sprinkle of cinnamon
Put Oats into pot
Mix Almond milk and protein in separate bowl and then pour mix onto oats
Place Half amount of banana on top of oats
Place layer of yoghurt over banana and spread the peanut butter over the yoghurt
Place all of the berries over the yoghurt to form another layer
Spoon the remainder of the yoghurt into the pot
Layer the rest of the banana to form the last layer
To finish sprinkle the chopped almonds and cinnamon
Pop the lid on and place in fridge overnight to set.
